BUSINESS #1:
Do you own a computer? Do you like taking pictures? Are you artistic?
If you answered YES to the above questions, you are already 1/2 way there! Here is how and why this money-making business works: First, a little background about me. When I first started my "Photography, Custom Printing and Direct-Mail" business back in 1983, there were only a couple of ways for me to advertise my products and services ... the Yellow Pages and Newspaper Ads. Both of them cost lots of money, and sadly, they weren't very effective. I quickly realized that I needed to find a less expensive way to get my message out to the people that would buy my products and services. After thinking about it for a while, I realized that all people have one thing in common ... they all read their mail! It was with that thought in mind that I discovered that the best way for me to get my advertising to my potential customers was to direct-mail them an inexpensive color post-card that included a picture of my products and services. So, my very first advertising campaign was a color post-card that I mailed to all of the businesses in my area. The color post-card included a picture of me holding my camera, standing next to a large cork-board that was filled with numerous samples of post-cards, catalog sheets and brochures in different sizes and shapes. The message on the card was simple. It read: "Do you need an inexpensive way to advertise your Product or Service? I'm a One-Stop Shop that does it all ... I do the Photography, I Custom-Print your Color Post-Card, I compile your mailing list, and I even label, stamp and mail your Post-Card to your Customers! I do it ALL! Call me and I'll show you how affordable I am!" What my customers didn't know was that I was doing the whole business out of the basement of my condominium and that the only machines I had was a camera, a computer and a mail-labeling machine!!! Here is Money-Making Business #1 in a nutshell: FIRST, I'd take a picture of the product or service that my customer wants to sell. My first customers were mostly Real Estate Agents (so I'd take a picture of them next to a "SOLD" sign in front of a house), Car Dealerships, the Service Sector (such as Heating & Cooling Companies, Painters, etc.), Politicians (Lawyers running for Judge, etc.). SECOND, I'd have Custom Printed Post-Cards printed by an inexpensive out-of-state Printer for Wholesale Prices (don't worry, I'll tell you who the best and cheapest printers are!). THIRD, I'd buy mailing lists for whole-sale prices that consisted of the names and addresses of the people that are most likely to buy my customer's product or service (for example, for Real Estate Agents I'd buy Residential lists, for Heating & Cooling Companies, I'd buy lists of owners of Commercial Buildings, etc.). FORTH, I'd apply all of the mailing labels using my Mail Labeling machine, which applies an incredible 7500 mail labels per hour, which means that I can apply over 60,000 labels in just an 8 hour day!!! SHOW ME THE MONEY! Well, let's add it all up. First, I charge to take the Photograph of their Product or Service. Second, I charge for the design and layout of their Post-Card (that's where the computer is used, because I do the graphics and type-setting for the message side of the post-card). Third, I mark-up the wholesale price of the Postcards and make a nice profit. Forth, I markup the wholesale price of the Mailing List and make another nice profit. Fifth, I charge to apply the mailing labels. And sixth, I markup the price the post-office charges for bulk-rate postage. Add it all up, and it's lots of money for very little work. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO OPERATE THE BUSINESS AND MAKE $500-1000 PER WEEK? Well, you need a Computer, a Camera (Digital or Negative) and a Mail-Labeling Machine. If you don't have a Camera, we've got many used ones that you can buy. About the only machine you probably don't have is a Mail-Labeling Machine because they are very rare and vwey expensive. We've recently upgraded our labeling machine to a very fast machine because we have none "grown" our business into marketing for large corporations and for politicians that require very large mailings that the smaller machine would take weeks to do. Fortunately for you, there are literally thousands of "small" businesses in your area that will be happy to pay you for the service I've described above. HOW WILL YOU LEARN TO RUN THE BUSINESS? You'll learn from me, James Mulligan, the owner and operator for over 25 Years! HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? If you need a Camera, we've got several from only $250 up to $1000, depending on what you can afford. The Mail-Labeler (The Official Name is "XEROX CHESHIRE MOD VI ADDRESSER") cost over $20,000 new, but you can buy it for only $5000 (or best offer). If you have any questions, simply email Jim at AffordableByJim@aol.com Remember, this is a one-of-a-kind machine, so when it's gone ... it's gone!!!

BUSINESS #2:
DO YOU LIKE BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Many people love Black & White Photography. It has a look and style about it that Color fails to capture. Black and White Prints are extremely popular to use on walls as art, and the bigger the print the better! Sadly, digital printers don't do a very good job of printing Black & White Prints. Nothing yet has replaced the Black & White Darkroom, which is where the greats (like Ansel Adams) did their magic. Sadly, Black & White Darkrooms are almost becoming extinct because they've stop making enlargers, so the Art of hand-printing Black & White Prints is quickly becoming a lost art. But, here is the good news! There has been a resurgence of demand for large hand-printed Black & White Prints because people and businesses are using the Prints as artwork in homes & offices all around the world. The reason that most people don't like Black & White prints that are printed on digital printers is because they don't not have the deep blacks and the pure whites that hand-printed Black & White prints have. Photographers are constantly looking for a Photo- Lab that will develop and print their Black & White film. And, they are looking for really large print sizes (often 6 feet x 6 feet or larger) to display on Studio walls and their customer's walls. As an added bonus, if you personally like taking pictures, Black & White photography is a great way for you to make even more extra money because you can sell your Prints at Art Shows (such as Ann Arbor, Arts & Apples, etc.) that are held all across the country (great way for a legal travel write-off on your taxes). Popular Prints that sell at Art Shows include pictures of old things, such as antique cars, trains, buildings, etc. ... things that are found at Greenfield Village. Here is Money-Making Business #2 in a nutshell: FIRST, you simply need to advertise (on Craig's List, in local papers, emails, etc.) that you are in the business of developing Black & White film and printing Black & White prints in large sizes. SECOND, you can make additional money mounting those prints on gator board or providing framing services. THIRD, you can start your own Black & White Print Line that you can sell at Art Shows or on-line on a Website. FORTH, because you are operating out of your basement or spare bedroom, you have no overhead, so all of the money you make will be pure profit!!! SHOW ME THE MONEY! Well, let's add it all up. First, I charge to develop and proof the Black & White film. Second, I charge for the Print Enlargements ... and by the way, because Black & White Printing is so rare, I charge 2-3 times more for Black & White Prints than Labs charge for Color Prints. Third, I charge for mounting the Prints onto gator board and/or framing ... which is very profitable. Fifth, if you are smart, you'll start your own Photo Line, where you can go to Art Shows and charge people for Prints that they can display as Art in their homes or offices. And sixth, I markup the price of the gator board and frames PLUS I have a service-charge on top of that!. Add it all up, and it's lots of money for very little work. On warm & sunny days I'm out traveling and taking pictures, and on cold & rainy days I'm down in my basement developing Black & White film and Printing Black & White enlargements. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO OPERATE THE BUSINESS AND MAKE $500-1000 PER WEEK? All that you need is a Black & White Darkroom (which includes dozens and dozens of little things such as enlargers, lenses, film developers, dryers, trays, timers, lights, etc.) which are getting very hard to find and expensive to buy. Fortunately, for you, I am a one-stop shop for a Black & White Darkroom because I have a complete and fully-functioning Black & White darkroom that consists of two of the most popular B&W enlargers ever made (the Omega 4x5 and the Beseler 23C-II) along with everything else you need to be up and running in only hours. HOW WILL YOU LEARN TO RUN THE BUSINESS? You'll learn from me, James Mulligan, the owner and operator! I have over 30 Years of Developing and Printing experience that will get you going fast ... even if you've never done B&W developing and printing it in your life! Plus, I'll give you all of my Trade Secrets on getting the best prices on everything you need so that you can make maximum markups and maximum profits! HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? It cost me well over $10,000 to buy all of the Enlargers, Lenses, Film Carriers, Timers, Trays, Special fiberglass sink to hold all of the trays, Lights, Calculators, Meters, etc., but you can buy it all for only $2000 (or best offer) plus I'm going to include training and trade secrets for no additional charge. If you have any questions, simply email Jim at AffordableByJim@aol.com Remember, this is a one-of-a-kind system, so when it's gone ... it's gone!!!

BUSINESS #3:
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF GRAPHIC ARTS & SCREEN-PRINTING?
Have you ever worn a T-Shirt with Custom Printing on it? Of course you have! The process they use to Print T-Shirts is called "Screen-Printing" because they print the ink through a screen. Custom Printers also screen print Sweats, Hats, Jackets, Coffee Cups plus thousands more products. Graphic Arts is the process they use to make the Screen. First, artwork (such as lettering) is done on a computer, then the artwork is enlarged and "photographed" onto sheets of film using a Graphic Arts Camera. Next, the sheet of film is used to make the screen so that ink can be squeezed through onto the T-shirt, coffee cup, etc. Now, because of the bad economy, there are literally thousands of small screen-printing businesses that are being started up in people's garages and basements. A lot of them are printing T-shirts, Sweat-shirts and hats for local high schools and colleges. The start-up equipment is, for the most part, inexpensive, but there is one very important piece of equipment that is very expensive that most small screen-printing shops can't afford to buy, and it's called "A Graphic Arts Camera". This Graphic Arts Camera is the center of Business #3. Here is Money-Making Business #3 in a nutshell: FIRST, I contacted all of the screen-printers within a 20 mile radius of my home (they are easy to find because they usually advertise in the yellow pages). SECOND, I tell them that I have a Graphic Arts Camera and that I'll "shoot high quality films" of their artwork. THIRD, they give me the artwork to shoot, and in a day or two I give them back their films. Because the Graphic Arts Camera is all computerized, I can shoot hundreds of pieces of artwork in just a few hours! SHOW ME THE MONEY! Simple. I buy all of my film wholesale, and I mark up the price so that I'm clearing over $100 per hour. I can work at night, on rainy days, whenever I want. That's called FREEDOM!!! WHAT DO YOU NEED TO OPERATE THE BUSINESS AND MAKE $500-1000 PER WEEK? All that you need is a Graphic Arts Camera and a price list to give out to your Customers. HOW WILL YOU LEARN TO RUN THE BUSINESS AND USE THE GRAPHIC ARTS CAMERA? You'll learn from me, James Mulligan, the owner and operator for over 25 Years! HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
